Sadly enough, many times, the staffing for these homes is inadequate due to improper screening of employees, and the senior residents are viewed as a group as opposed to each being an individual.

At Silver Lake Care Center we do not merely focus on creating a place for seniors to reside. Our staff strives to create an environment that enables each senior to receive the appropriate level of care each senior needs. Far too often facilities only focus on the physical needs of the resident, leaving them feeling isolated and detached. At Silver Lake Care Center, our residents are an integral part of our family. With this in mind, we have an Activities Director whose sole purpose it is to find ways, through activities, to encourage seniors to enjoy themselves while with us. This helps build a sense of community and gives residents events to look forward to. Our staff truly cares about our residents and wants them to enjoy themselves in their time with us..
